Review summary

This is a nice cruise, staff is friendly and food is OK. Cozumel is amazing but progreso is not for the faint of heart. If you can only afford 1 excursion do it in progreso or stay at the port shops do not venture into progreso on your own and if you do stay very aware!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food at the buffet was repetitive, especially breakfast, and I get closing to switch to dinner but on port days people come back hungry and nothing is open except pizza from 3-6. The main dining room the food was good just no seasoning.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did the water slides a few times the kids enjoyed the kid area, but we wanted to do the rope course which seemed to be always closed. The hot tubs were not hot just warm

Children's Programs

The kids enjoyed ocean club! We had a string ray and a shark both kids wanted to be there as much as possible

Service and Staff

Mary Jane was amazing she went out of her way to make sure the kids got extra towel animals on their beds after one of them asked why only the grownups got them. She smiled and greeted us every time we seen her in the hallway. In the main dining room we had Charles at first but then he brought the wrong meal to one of the kids and then Ketut took over he was the reason we kept returning! He made us feel like we were right at home and even explained how the menu worked but the last night we felt like we were going to visit a friend at his house. He went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Ship Quality

There was always someone cleaning everywhere we went. I should have taken pics of name tags because I can't even remember them all

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had so much room! We only had 4 people in our room but could have had 5 we felt like we were in our camper at home. We loved the second half bath. Mary Jane kept our room emmaculant! Everyday she was vacuuming and cleaning!

Ship tip

You feel the waves! Even on the 1st deck

This port is a rougher area we caught the free shuttle to town and was taken to a vendor market where one of the vendors groped my daughter and tried to pull her away from us. We immediately boarded the bus back to port.

I get you offer free luggage pickup but being our first many people told us to just carry it off, stairs with lots of luggage is not a good idea. So many people trying to get down them there were babies in strollers being pushed down the stairs it was absolutely dangerous!
