Good Afternoon This was our first cruise, and it was horrible. 1. First night the TV went out the Air-condition did not work the entire trip we were not offered a new room until the last night. We purchased two cases of water from Carnival and the refrigerator in the room did not work as I understand it never worked. I went downtown customer service after countless attempts to fix the problem by staff. And I asked for the manger this man name was Luis he was super rude . And said the room is at a comfortable 74 the whole trip .the ac man had been to the room 4 times and stated something was wrong at one point they took the vent down to help the room to cool. Luis was so rude. My husband and daughter have breathing disorders my husband had to sleep on 2 chairs on the deck. Luis took this as a joke and said maybe that's why the room was so hot. Not pleased with his behavior at all. The ac was never fixed the last night the ac guy gave up. The refrigerator never worked the TV went out 2 times then the maintenance guy taught my daughter how to reset it so he would not have to come back. All of this and last night we were offered a new room after 9pm we declined we just wanted off. Then the manager said we will give you a 100 credit we are hot and tired and want to go home this was the trip from hell. We had to stay out the hot box as much as possible. This is not the extent of my dismay. I had to stand in line numerous times to talk to someone about the room most of my time was dealing with maintains issues. Not fun. Then the guy said with the 100 credit we will send you up a couple of wines they sent 1 instead of 2 nothing went right. We asked could this be off the bill or credit for something we like we are not drinkers. This was our only option . This was horrible and I would love to share more. I was told 3 times that different management would come and talk to me the housekeeping manger Vanessa was the only one she came to the room felt how it was open the refrigerator and watch the water that was dropping from the ceiling in front of our room . This is so sad. Carnival has let me and my family down for more than $2,000-dollar hot box.Embarkation
