Review summary

This was our annual Mother’s Day trip, but our first time taking a cruise. We always just go to the beach. We all had the best time!! The Carnival Breeze was a great boat! Everyone was so nice, Cookie was the best cruise director, food was decent. We are from Louisiana where the food is amazing, so we knew it wouldn’t be as good as home. :) We can’t wait to go back!!

Buffet & dining room food wasn’t that great but was convenient. Guy’s burgers and Guy’s pig were delicious but closed early. Excellent breakfast at the Blue Iguana cantina. Cheers package was worth it for me, but my kids didn’t use the Bubbles package hardly at all.

Port was nice, the little shops off the boat were nice, but if you left that area you were in the slums. Very sketchy. We took golf carts down to the beach and that was fun. They had shops along the water but everyone was begging for you to buy their products.
