Review summary

It was great to be back cruising! Embarkation was a pain, but once on board it was nice. Had to wear a mask in common areas, but if seated and eating or drinking, you could take it down. Staff was friendly and the level of cleaning throughout the ship was huge. It was a quieter cruise, with fewer party goers and children, but all were there to have a good time and return to what we love to do .... cruise!!!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Crowded, scheduled embarkation times were not honored, lines were long and slow due to checking of all the Covid paperwork.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All great and the crew was especially nice and going above and beyond.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Hot tub, the Italian Restaurant, Trivia, Comedy show and the nightly show. Also the Breeze Band was amazing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Really, really great.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Though we didn't see our steward much, he did a great job, and answered our calls when we needed something. Our dining room staff was amazing. In fact, we had been placed a table upstairs, and really prefer downstairs; but didn't want to leave our wait staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size of the cabin was so nice and spacious. The jetted tub was pretty narrow and loud, not that soothing, but having glass doors and not a flimsy curtain that allows the water to overflow and run all over the floor like in regular cabins was great. A having double sinks was definitely a plus, too!

Ship tip

Learn the layout by just exploring, and it is hard to see and do everything there is to do on this ship. I love this class of ship and the amenities they offer.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
This was our port, and again, embarkation was slow and not as organized as it used to be.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

The ship stopped here, but we did not get off.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Love Cozumel, but will be glad when mask requirements are eliminated.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fast and easy, much better organized that embarkation.

Seems embarkation experiences are all over the map, from smooth sailing to downright awful. Apart from that, it looks like you had a wonderful cruise. Thanks for the informative review.
