All cruises are good but didn't like thee boat. For a newer boat the decor was so plain. Wish carnival would find some newer places to go.

Dinning was great in the dinning room but the buffet's were something that we were disapointed in.

Onboard Activities

Pool area's were so crowded you couldn't hardly walk around and couldn't find a lounge chair any where.

Comics were great but show's had something to be desired.
Limelight Lounge

Best comedians we have ever viewed
Service and Staff

Servers in our dinning area were great and the room steward kept our room clean but asked for ice to have for our drinks and medicine because the refrigerator wasn't working and it just never happened.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Our 25th cruise and we thought the boat was over rated for what we saw. The boat was very plain compared to all the other ships we have been on. As far as a newer boat we did not see anything that impressed us. We would not book on it again.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was ok, Steward kept room very clean.
Ship tip
Look for a different boat unless you like just something plain.
Been here 6 times and love the water and beach. This time Carnival has let the locals hoard the beach with there lounge chairs and Umbrellas and charge 30.00 for them. I thought Carnival controlled this part of the beach.
I agree with NQuintieri, the Breeze is a beautiful ship with soothing decor. Also agree on the MDR food quality. They deffenetly need to find a new chief. Roboheart: you didn't care for the Breeze?? Be prepared to be keelhauled! She is a fine ship! As for destinations as has already been stated. You need to choose the cruise that goes to where you want to go not expect the cruise to go where you want to go savvy?
I love the more tropical less gaudy color scheme of the Breeze. It's calming. And the cruise lines can't just create places to go but you can choose to sail out of different ports for options. Try the west coast. Try a Mediterranean or European cruise.
We were on the same cruise as you. I thought the ship was very nice and clean. Food in the main dining room was not that great. We may have had two good dinners out of the whole trip. Best dinner we had was at the Steakhouse. We enjoyed the ports except for San Juan Puerto Rico. They just had the earthquake the day before we arrived and when we got there the majority of all the stores were closed because they had no power. Overall we enjoyed it except for the food and San Juan.
We were on the breeze a little over a month ago and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was our first Carnival cruise, about 15 in all and we were glad we took the gamble on the Breeze. Sorry your cruise wasn’t better but I thought it was awesome.
Thank you for sharing your review with us. I've never been on the Breeze and will be sailing on her soon, I'm very interested in all the reviews on this ship. Sounds like you didn't have such a great time, hope I have a good time.
My second favorite Carnival ship after the Vista. The understated decor is less gaudy than the themed ships. The spa area is outstanding and the specialty restaurants are done well. I think they publish the itineraries before you board. Several dozen European itineraries are on sale right now.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy some of it. As far as other places to go, there are only so many ports in the Caribbean, especially that can be reached in a 7 day itinerary. Carnival cruises to Alaska, Bermuda, Canada & New England or the Mediterranean if you want something different.
