This was to be a relaxing vacation after the holidays and what we found was rush from port to port but yet no time allowed to be spent in the port. I believe our longest day was in the DR. We were glad to get back home.
Embarkation

Fantastic
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The dinning room is understaffed so there is time wasted doing other tasks that were performed in the past by specific individuals. Such as drinks from the bar. Now the wait staff is performing those task. That slows the other services down.
The buffet breakfast was the best meal of the day but the lines got long so get there early.
We did not visit the specialty restaurants because Carnival keeps raising their prices. We would order the specialty restaurant food from the menu at the dinning room for an upcharge of $20.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were a lot of activities as always.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The shows are always the best part of the night life but this cruise there was only one that made our day and the comedy club also shined.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff was very friendly, helpful and hardworking.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
This need help. They need more help. We were missing the second blackout curtain in our room and there was a large red stain on the floor. The common areas at times needed a lot of help and the casino, well it needs better smoking scrubbers.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The cabin is the same size as all of Carnival balconies but the maintenance is a little shabby. The cabinet doors were hanging, one blackout curtain was missing and there was a big red stain in the middle of the floor.
Ship tip
Ask about tips before taking any Spa packages. They just add it automatically.
We had a blast on the ATv/beach excursion although there wasn't enough time to go and enjoy the beach. Plus don't split your group up to help them consolidate trucks if you want your group together when you reach the site.
The snorkel and beach in St. Thomas did not say that 100 people would be on your boat packed in like sardines and snorkeling at the same time in the same place. It took 15 minutes of the hour allowance to snorkel just to get off the boat. Then it took another 15 minutes to get back on. So really there was only 1/2 hour of snorkeling. Then the beach there was no pier parking so the anchored and had everyone get off in the chest high water and walk to shore over rocky footing.
The private beach with adult toys was our go to. we had purchased this twice before and had a great day. Not this time and never again. The services have been cut. Plus we arrived at 12:15 and left at 6:00. That's not a long enough stay.
Why is Grand Turk the shortest port time but my favorite place and I’m sure others agree I rather gave less time in Amber cove and extra hours in Turks jmo
Thank you for sharing with us. Sounds like it wasn't your best cruise ever, but I hope there were some really good moments. I will take to heart your tip regarding the spa.
I don’t think in all the years I’ve been cruising, say I couldn’t wait to get off ship and get home. And I just sailed the Breeze. Fabulous ship! And I usually know right from booking how long I will be in port.
Did they change the itinerary times after you boarded or did they do exactly what they posted in the itinerary you booked? Are the specialty restaurants not still just $15 like they have been for years, with the exception of the steakhouse that raised only a couple dollars? Try the ala Carte pricing on Norwegian if you want to see real large charges. If you really don't think your spa provider deserved a tip, they will remove it. Did you read the reviews on the excursion you booked?
