Review summary

This was our first Carnival Cruise. We enjoyed it but was very disappointed with the food. Carnival needs to improve on this.

Drinks were amazing! Loved all varieties that were offered. Food on the other hand needs improvement. Meals were not that great. The best meal we had on the ship was at Farenheit Steak Restaurant. Best meal on the ship. Was not impressed with Italian restaurant. Did not like that if you and somebody else in your group order the same appetizer you have to share it. I'm paying extra for a meal I expect my own appetizer. Food was not what I expected. Breakfast needs to be changed up in the Lido Buffet.

Entertainment on the ship was very good. DJ's were good. Evening shows were nice. Loved the Love and Marriage Show. A must watch! Nono out Cruise Director was amazing. Loved her energy.

Service was very good. Richard our room steward was very nice. Our rooms were always kept clean.

Took a while to get use to the ships design but we figured it out. Ship is very clean. People working around the clock making sure it was clean.

Nice and spacious with 2 showers in it. Very convenient

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Unfortunately San Juan Puerto Rico just had their earthquake the day before we arrived. There was no electricity on the island. Most of the shops were closed plus it started to rain very heavy. We went back to the ship.

Grand Turk Island

Simply AMAZING!! Such a beautiful island. We went to a private beach. Bajari Beach. It was beautiful We truly enjoyed it.

I had nothing against San Juan. First of all we should have been diverted somewhere else. They just had an earthquake. There are things called aftershocks. I don't want to be on an island during one of those. Secondly everything was practically closed because they had no power. Then it started to pour rain like crazy. They should not have stopped there. My husband heard that they can possibly have another earthquake in the next week so that island should be diverted for now.

They were not judging San Juan for its quality just stating that “unfortunately they had just had the earthquake” don’t get your tit in a ringer due to Mother Nature It’s not these guys fault they just telling it like it is. Damn over sensitive people!

Sorry you didn’t enjoy the food. We’ve always found good variety and quality in the dining room and buffet. It’s not 5 star cuisine, but it’s the best you can expect when they are feeding thousands of people 3 meals a day for multiple days on end.
