Review summary

My regrets were not getting a balcony, not getting the drink package ( but my wife doesn’t drink), and not taking enough money. We went on a budget and it didn’t work out used more than I thought we would.

We always get the drink package because of all the other non alcoholic drinks you get as well. Also always get a balcony room! If on a budget use only cash as onboard payment instead of credit card. Leave cc's in room safe while at port and only take the cash you are budgeted for that port

Yep carnival is one of them any persons in the room have to purchase the drinks package so it was probably the best for you guys as your wife doesn't drink ... we both drink and it's still not worth it for us .. great you enjoyed I would rather wait than not have a balcony cabin it's a must for us !

I agree that a balcony is great experience but can be expensive. You may have been better off without the drink pkg as some lines make you purchase a pkg for everyone in the room.
