Loved Bermuda, loved the Breeze. MarQ was an excellent CD. The staff was wonderful. Rough seas for most of the cruise, but that certainly isn't within Carnival's control.
Embarkation

Could not have been any smoother! We basically just walked on with no problems at all. Our travel friends, who are Platinum and used Priority lines for check-in, walked on board with us.

Food and Dining

MDR was just okay. Excellent waitstaff (Alfredo and team in Sapphire), but the food was mediocre at best. Buffet food was fine, lots of choices. Our best meal onboard was definitely dinner at Cucina del Capitano, excellent food and great ambiance, and a bargain at $15 per person.
Cucina Del Capitano

Great birthday dinner with our friends. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere is lovely and relaxing. SUCH a bargain at $15 per person. Would do this at least once per cruise on all future Carnival cruises.
Onboard Activities

TINY pool, usually at capacity when it was available. Due to our weather conditions, the pool was quite often empty/covered. Not a big pool person anyway, so this really wasn't an issue. As usual, lots of chair savers without bodies in the chairs, but for the most part there was plenty of outdoor seating around the ship, not necessarily near the pool, so we were happy.
Entertainment

Had previously seen most of the shows, so we didn't go out of our way to see them. Performers around the ship were really good. I especially liked Surplus of Diggity (brass), Sea Sharps, and the violin trio.

Service and Staff

Easily the best part of the cruise. We befriended bar waiter Made at the pool area on Day 1, and he took excellent care of us for the rest of the cruise.
Ship Quality

Very easy to find our way around, everything seemed well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was comfortable, our cabin steward John kept us clean and welcomed with towel animals!
It's hard for us to think of this as a "port of call", since we have friends here and often visit even when not cruising. Lots of great restaurants and bars, easy access to the beach, fun to watch cruise ships in the port.
We were prepared for Bermuda to be pricier than other ports, so that was no surprise. The people were lovely and polite, the Dockyard area near King's Wharf was clean and easily accessible from the ship. We did not do a specific excursion but toured the Bermuda History Museum/fort area on our own. Many of the shops were preparing for the potential arrival of Hurricane Humberto, and we watched as they removed boats from the harbor to drydock in preparation, which was kind of an unexpected and educational "excursion" itself. Would love to go back and stay longer.
I was really looking forward to visiting Margaritaville and Jack's Shack and was SO disappointed. Margaritaville was just super-crowded - when the DJ actually complained that she "had" to play "Margaritaville", because "apparently, it's like our anthem or something", I knew that the atmosphere was not the same as other locations. Because our arrival had been delayed, there was another ship that had docked prior to Breeze, so there were no beach chairs available. It was VERY hot and humid, so we didn't bother with the 10-minute beach "hike" to Jack's Shack and just went back on board and enjoyed the minimal crowd on the ship. If you don't do an excursion, it's just a giant commercialized area. We would not go out of our way to return - been there, done that.
Disembarkation was as smooth as possible with the number of people trying to leave. People with large luggage and/or children or mobility issues should NOT be allowed to do self-disembark. The smartest thing we did this time was relax on deck and wait until later in the process so we weren't fighting the crowds, but once you are off the ship and in the terminal it's still interminable.
