Review summary

If you get a chance to cruise to Bermuda, take it!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was our best embarkation experience ever. We showed up right at the start of our boarding time, an agent took us right away with no wait, took our documents, took our photo, and sent us on our way. From checking in to walking on the ship in 10 minutes or less. With most of the time being spent walking up the gang way.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Guys burgers are always great, the deli has changed a little since our last cruise but the sandwiches were all great. Didn’t really eat the buffet other than breakfast. And the food in the main dining room was wonderful as always. I was so excited that they brought back the baked Alaska. I guess they got tired of people complaining so they brought it back.

Cucina Del Capitano

We go when they do free lunch. We liked being served for lunch instead of standing in line at the buffet. The pasta was good, the bread was wonderful. Fun little quite place to have a good lunch.

Guy's Pig & Anchor

5 out of 5

I believe this is now guys pig and anchor bbq, but I went and got the brisket. The brisket and mac and cheese were very good, but the baked beans were a little too much for my taste, but I’m sure other people love them.

Redfrog Pub

5 out of 5

This is a really cute area, we came down to grab a drink and relax after doing some trivia. We didn’t order any food, but we will next time. We honestly didn’t know you could order food here until we sat down.

Guy's Burger Joint

First thing I do on every carnival cruise I take is get a guys burger. I love these burgers.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We’re sun lovers, so we mostly find a deck chair and park ourselves right there. The seas were rough so the main pool was closed a lot of the time. I enjoyed shooting some hoops, and the ropes course, while my wife relaxed on the back of the ship.

Ropes Course

A lot of fun to test your nerve. Some of the best from the ship from way up there.

SportSquare

Nothing like shooting some hoops while in the middle of the ocean.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We always love our room stewards and dining staff. If our dining staff wasn’t always so good we might try some of the other dinner options. It’s such a small thing, but always being greeted by your name is such a wonderful touch.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship always felt clean, and there always seemed to be staff walking around cleaning. I like the layout of this ship and the outside areas on decks 4 and 5 where you can walk around the ship and get air where it’s not so crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved the location of this room. Close to the elevators that took us to food. Either the main dining room or the lido deck, we were always close to the food and the other goings ons. We’ve never had a deluxe ocean view room before, but we liked having two showers. The tube isn’t large enough for an adult to use, but since it has a shower it really sped up or time getting ready. We like the rooms with a sofa so we can put our suitcases on the sofa and always have easy access to our things without having to unpack, or sit in the floor.

Ship tip

Check out the 4D theater.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Port is easy to get to, it’s clean, and easy to navigate if you’re driving yourself. This was our best embarkation process ever. I hope the other ports start moving to this model.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Wonderful people, very clean port, easy to get around the island, we can’t wait to come back. We loved being docked over night.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Always a great port if you love easy access to the beach. We bring our own snorkels and spend our time here swimming. This time instead of margaritaville we tried whale tails on the other side of the island. Loved the atmosphere here and the food was fresh and wonderful. I enjoyed the local beer they served here as well.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Due to the rough seas we were late arriving at the port. The crew did their best to get everyone off as quickly as possible. The lines for the off site parking were longer than expected because the late arrival was messing the rotation of dropping off new passengers and picking up the returning quest.
