This was my husband’s second time cruising but the first time for me and our two sons (ages 15 and 9)... the first two days I felt sea sick... but by day 3 I was feeling great and barely felt the ship moving. I loved every minute of this cruise! Kids and hubby had a great time as well, there is something for everyone. Our cruise director Schwartz was phenomenal! Loved his sense of humor and energy. I am currently planning our next cruise :)

Zosimo, Supak and Jose at Blush restaurant were fantastic! Made for a great dinning experience. Our room stewards Jason and Nisrina kept our cabin clean. Always nice and friendly.

Interior... small and cozy but big enough for our family of 4... never felt trapped. Close to elevators.
Ship tip
Have your paperwork ready at embarkation, relax, enjoy your vacation!
We did the Skyride to Paradise Point excursion, the views were breathtaking! After our excursion we did a bit of shopping, had lunch and returned to the ship. Would love to go again and explore more of St Thomas.
The port area is small... there were two ships docked at the same time and the beach as well as Margaritaville were extremely crowded. We had lunch at Margaritaville and it was ok. After lunch we went to the beach on the right side of the dock... it was a bit rocky but it didn’t bother us. The water was beautiful! We got some nice pics in the water with the ship in the background.
I grew up in Puerto Rico so I am familiar with the area and have family living there as well... we did not do an excursion... we went to Fortaleza Street and to El Morro... the views are just amazing! We went to eat at Raíces restaurant (their mofongo is the best I’ve had!) and had hand-rolled ice cream at Himalayan Ice Co. We walked around and did a bit of shopping.
My favorite port! Loved the energy as soon as you walk through the port. Very clean. Super friendly people. We did an excursion at Ocean World and it was such a wonderful experience. We had a lot of fun with the dolphins. This is a port I’d love to visit again.
Happy to hear your visit to Puerto Plata was pleasant we were there in January and we too had an awesome time. with all the bad publicity they're getting it's nice to hear some good comments and the rest of your review was awesome as well.
