Had a blast, the stops were amazing, and made the best of the little annoying things like crowds and late starting excursions. (Turk) If you can’t enjoy being on a cruise in the Caribbean- the problem might not be the external things. 🙂
Embarkation

Smooth, and a great start.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The main dining room was not our fav. We requested a private table, and were seated 2” away from tables on both sides. It was laughable! No privacy to enjoy an anniversary dinner.
Onboard Activities

The fitness center is great, just SUPER warm with no air movement. The pools were SO crowded you couldn’t even move- WAY too small for that large of a ship. The ropes course was great, and fun helpers there as well. Fun mini-golf, and the slides were a blast.
Entertainment

We enjoyed all of the shows, and the comedians as well. The music groups were just ok. I wish there was a magician or some variety as well.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff

The waiters were SO friendly, and smiled as they cleaned up after everyone. I was so impressed with them. Our room steward was not very interactive, but the room was clean. We did have to call medical one night after getting food poisoning, and they were less than helpful.
Ship Quality

Design was good, although it looked a little ‘tired’ and run down. (Carpet, rust, etc) They kept it clean though!
Cabin / Stateroom

Wonderful! No complaints whatsoever.
Ship tip
Make sure you know the hours of the different eating places. I’d get my mouth all ready for a burger, or burrito- and we’d get there and they would be closed. It was frustrating- and not well posted.
Oh WOW! The pool area was amazing! We had not read/seen anything about it in all of our planning. It’s free and fantastic- like a resort! They should really advertise this more. We did the monkey excursion and I loved it! I’d do this cruise again just for this port!
We did a fabulous excursions (BOSS snorkeling) and didn’t have a lot of time at the port. It just looked like overpriced shops though... we didn’t stick around long. The island is beautiful and I’d love to go back.
Our walking tour was our least favorite, and it was right in the middle of the day so we didn’t get time to see much else. Go see the fort- but walk there and pay 6$ to do your own tour. I liked the local vendors around better than a formal , expensive ‘fake’ village.
Absolutely beautiful! You don’t need an excursion here, there are amazing beaches right when you get off! We did a catamaran that was too crowded and they rushed us through snorkeling and the private island. I wish I’d have not done one and just enjoyed the beach and beautiful clear water.
You seem to have a great attitude about being on holiday! Glad you made the best of it.
Not sure if you know about the Hub app.....it would have helped you greatly knowing the times of the different dining options and times open. It's a free app that gives so much info, especially when onboard. Look into it. It even lets you know what is being served in the MDR.
