Review summary

Not happy with a few things. Did not have little kids activities like swimming or slides. Had worker walk across our balcony while my wife was changing, before having to be out of our rooms. Very disappointed with having the masseuses trying bbn to sell stuff right after our massages. Did not even get to use spa tub in massage room and not offer from staff. Added stress to the massage. Wont get another one on any ship!

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Long waits for food in restaurants except for the steak house. The steak house was very good service and food!

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Not happy that we could not bring our 2 year old in any water activities

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Stage shows looked very cheap and not worth watching. Walked out of 2 different shows.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Nothing for a 2 year old to do on the ship, yet had to pay full price. Not good! The older kids had a good time though.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was very good to deal with except doctor. The doctor did not have very good bedside manner.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Not a bad layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Staff did a great job keeping our room clean and inviting

Ship tip

Don't bring small kids. 2 and 3 year olds have almost nothing to do.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us.

Both royal Caribbean and carnival do not allow toddlers wearing swimmers on in any water area..they have to be potty trained for sanitary reasons. I think Disney allows it.

Agree. Dislike the high pressure sales pitch after a relaxing massage.

If you tell the provider 6ou don't want a sales pitch before your service, they want give you one. Not sure what there suppose to do to entertainment a 2 year old. Perhaps a Disney Cruise next time?

The Carnival Breeze has a Splash Zone for the little ones, was your child too young? Camp Carnival is a play room for little kids. As for the high pressure sales tactics after a massage I just give them a quick no thank you and I keep walking, I won't stand there and listen to a sales pitch. I don't go on a cruise to be sold stuff

Next time before you book a cruise watch a ship tour on YouTube. There's one for almost every ship. We always pre plan before booking. You don't have to be out of the room for them to clean the balconies but close the curtain a little ahead of time. They are getting paid to try and sell spa stuff. The spa stuff does not have to offer you use of the spa tub, you just walk in and enjoy it.
