Review summary
Fun time with friends. Great food. Wonderful staff and clean ship. Carnival, first is a family cruise line-and kids are running everywhere. Parents seemed to have turned their kids over and I don’t think Carnival can totally control them (nor should they be expected to). Carnival does need some curfew rules for kids to be (and stay) in their cabins and a curfew for settling down. We are (young) seniors and were up early to appreciate sunrises, so kids running amuck after 10pm were quite disruptive to our rest!Embarkation

Ship tip
Carnival has wonderful Dr Seuss program for children, and that is not so good for adult-only-passengers. Level 9 on our ship was overrun (literally) with unruly kids. Every evening, after we had crawled into bed, there were kids allowed to jump on the beds, run the halls between rooms, squealing and playing chase. The last night of our cruise, this started about 10:00ish and allowed to continue well past 11:30pm. We even had prank calls to our cabin so we unplugged our phone. Carnival doesn’t seem to have an avenue for handling this-Guest Services?, Cabin Steward? Carnival would risk offending the parents by responding, so we tried to handle gently with the children. Next time, we’ll just pick another cruise line! Frequent cruisers don’t seem to get much support here! Carnival should consider ADULTS ONLY floors!!
