We loved every minute of our cruise. It was our first one and will definitely NOT be our last one!!!!! I have 3 kids, 12, 17, and 19, and we all had an amazing time!!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
This was our first cruise and it was nothing short of a great experience. We went 2 weeks before Spring Break so it was less crowded and that was a great decision. Not only were there less people, it cost less as well. The embarkation was smooth, our trip was smooth sailing - the weather was great the whole time - and debarkation was very smooth as well. Not having ever been on another cruise, we were always a little worried at first before experiencing anything. For example, the morning of the first excursion we were worried about finding the right excursion, and just over all making sure we got back in time for the boat. But the place where all the excursion lines were was very clearly marked and we boarded our bus without any problems at all. Our excursion in Jamaica was great and the tour guides were awesome! That was also our first zip lining experience and we loved it!
The Carnival Breeze was great! There was always a lot to do and of course plenty of food. I would say that my least favorite meal was breakfast - it always seemed to be the same thing every morning, but the food was still good. Really the only thing I could even think about complaining about would be that there are not very many laundry facilities on the boat if you want to do your own laundry (but seriously, who wants to do laundry on vacation). I however didn't want to go home with a lot of dirty clothes, so on the last day at sea I did do some laundry. Had to search a few floors to find a vacant one as I suppose everyone else kind of had the same idea. But really, that was nothing. The cruise was overall a great time and my husband and kids and I all absolutely loved it. We will definitely be booking another one really soon!

Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We just swam in the pools, sat in the hot tubs, checked out the 4D Theater, did the dive-in theater movie a couple of times. My boys also played a lot of basketball and my oldest son and husband did check out the fitness center a couple of times.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We did watch a couple of dive-in movies. Only complaint we would have about that is that the pool chairs where you sit if you're not in a pool are very close to the bars and the people drinking and laughing at the bars made it hard to hear the movies.
Service and Staff

Service and staff were great. No problems at all. Always very helpful.
Ship Quality

The Carnival Breeze was a wonderful ship! Never been on any other cruise, so I can't compare the layout to any other boats, but we loved our time on the boat. We put in many steps walking all around and exploring on our sea days. Everything was kept clean and we had no problems at all.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had 2 interior cabins right next to each other - 1 for kids and 1 for parents. We had no problems at all. Of course the cabins were small, but there was plenty of storage for all 5 of us. The bathrooms were nice and being able to store our suitcases under the beds and out of the way was great!
Jamaica was beautiful! We shopped in the little booths right outside of where the boat was docked which was nice and convenient. We also book an excursion, so riding to bus, we got to see a little of Jamaica. We absolutely LOVED our excursion and our tour guides. They were great! We zip-lined, floated down a little river, and had Jamaican jerk chicken for lunch. That was our first time zip-lining and we will definitely be doing that again!
At Grand Cayman, we just decided to spend the entire time at 7 Mile Beach and we were glad we did! It was beautiful! Kids stayed in the water the entire time! The sand and water were just so pretty and clear and the weather was great! We rented jet skis and had fun on those. It was a very relaxing day after doing an excursion the day before.
Cozumel was a beautiful place and we ended up doing a lot of shopping. Our excursion was cancelled due to a trip advisory (better safe than sorry). We understood the precaution - just sad we didn't get to do our Mexico excursion. It was gonna be the grand finale:) But, we had a lot of fun walking all around and shopping and eating at Fat Tuesday!
Was worried about how long it was going to take to get off the boat once docked, but we lucked out and were able to get off right away. No problems with customs, and we had parked our car just across the street from the cruise terminal so we had no problems finding it and heading home:) Was a very memorable trip and we loved every minute of it! Can't wait to book our next one!!!
