Review summary

Our dining staff and our room steward were excellent - they went over and beyond our expectations. The staff at the Guest Services desk were not friendly nor helpful. The entertainment staff was disappointing - specifically for Bingo. After we bought our cards to play the $3,000 game, they informed us that if they did not have a winner (in a blackout game) within 49 numbers - the prize would be reduced. This should have been stated before cards were purchased. The prize was reduced to $800 - quite a difference in winnings (not me). I did ask for a refund on my card purchase and was never even given the courtesy of a reply. The Breeze has a problem on Deck 11 as exhaust fumes from the engines fall on the rear of the ship. It falls on the chairs and stains your clothes - diesel is next to impossible to get out of your clothes. They completely remove all cushions there on the last day of the cruise - bummer. I do not like having no smoking section on the decks with pools. If you are a smoker, you have to leave the pool area to smoke - the deck should be split so that smokers can remain "by the pool". Our ports of call were very good, we especially enjoyed Belize City and Roatan.

Nataliya was excellent, our room was comfortable. I do not understand why no smoking on the balcony.

Ship tip

Don't go on Breeze until exhaust on Deck 11 is resolved.

While I believe that everyone should have the right to smoke, you have understand that not everyone feels that way. Please read the contract before you agree to the ship's rules. On the brightside, I'll probably be able to enjoy more future cruises than you... (not you personally)

I would not consider myself a liberal and agree with no smoking by pool. I play in casino and that is so difficult but I don't complain as that is the rule. Second hand smoke can make others very ill so I support designed areas. Sorry. When I was on the Breeze in August I did not observe any smoke on open decks and balconies. .only in designated areas. Sorry your experience with bingo was so bad. I am not a bingo player but did join my friend for one game of bingo and found it fun. Mikey MC'd ours..he cracked me up. Hopefully better for you next time.

We got off the Breeze on the 18th after a two week back to back and the cigarette and cigar smoke on the 11th deck got to my COPD allergys and we came home sick and to the pulmonary Doctor I went. Costly experience for us. People were smoking all over the ship even on the balconies after being warned of the fire danger.

I personally would prefer diesel smoke to tobacco smoke.As on bingo play read the small print it is stated there.

Wrong. Smoking should not be allowed anywhere on the boat. You're going to complain about exhaust from the engine and then go on about everyone should have to endure the "exhaust" from your smoking. Diesel is easier to get out of clothes then second hand smoke is to get out of lungs.
