Review summary

First two days had a total shut down of all waterworks activities due to weather. Had nothing to replace activities. When they finally did open we found many of the waterworks sprayers NOT working and the bucket no longer dumps. Orange twisty slide hurt my son's back to where it is now bruised. Never got into one of the ports due to overbooking??? How does that happen?? We got a $50 credit for inconvenience.

In my opinion, it isn't the ships job to find you alternative entertainment if something you want to do is 'out of order' for a time. Ships are so huge, with so much to do on them there is ALWAYS something you can find to do, unless you just want to have a miserable time and prefer to just complain. And often there are things out of the ahips control. Everyone should know this going into a cruise.......Just saying :)

I was told the bucket didn't work in my cruise on November 15 2015. As far as the port that can't be Carnivals fault.

Thank you eroseman for the clarification. I read the OP as you missed all the ports since he/she said never got into one port. I thought that was a bit odd. You are proof a cruise is what you make it and those who focus only on the negative are just ruining their own vacation.

You went on the southern Caribbean Christmas cruise. I was also on that cruise and I saw the bucket dump several times. Yes there was a booking conflict in Curaçao but we still got to in the city. The port wasn't completely skipped. If you went to dinner on Christmas night you should have received a free glass of wine. Like I said earlier, the overbooking wasn't Carnival's fault.
