Review summary

We took our family on this cruise having never been on Carnival before. We were really impressed with the food as compared to other ships we have been on. The staff and facilities were also great. We enjoyed the sites that we went to. It was a little heavy on beaches so we were looking forward to our Dominican Republic day but the port there was just mediocre. We still enjoyed it, but the selection of things to do was pretty limited. As an idea there might be great value in having a baseball experience at the Dominican Republic since that is such a big part of that island. Anyways, we had a great time overall.

I agree about a baseball experience in La Romana Dominican Republic....when my husband and I disembarked we noticed young boys playing/practicing on the baseball field. And when we returned from our excursion they were still on the field...and that had to be a good 4 hours. Such dedication.
