Review summary

I've been on 5 cruises and this was the best ship by far. The ship was beautiful and clean. The staff we're very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a cove balcony and it was amazing. So many good selections and the food was much better than the paradise. FTTF was a huge time saver. Our room steward was Katut and he didn't miss a beat. He did everything we asked. My only complaint was the amount of time it took to get through dinner. It took an average 2 1/2 each night. Dr E did an excellent job filling in for Matt.

The ship needs better performer's. Honestly they weren't very good.

The cove balcony was amazing. Even though we were need the elevatorsame it was very quiet. I literally opened my eyes every morning to the ocean from my bed. Water spray was never an issue on the balcony and unless the doors open the room is very quiet. Don't think I will ever get another room that's not a cove balcony.

Vista arrives to her home port, Miami - Nov. 27, 2016. debarkation for my repositioning/ Thanksgiving/ ☆and 11 day journey to the Southern Caribbean cruise. We leave Manhattan cruise port on 11.16.16- we have a group- Carnival Vista NYC TO Miami, Repositioning careful, if you join the group you might find yourself booking that cruise!!

mdavis414 check out the Vista booking page. We are on Vista repositioning 11.16.16- many decks and stateroom choices are Sold OUT. This ship is Carnival's challenge to Disney- family focused and priced right, and all ages Fun!!

Glad you had a great cruise.   Nothing better then a good cruise to get you to temporally forget the world outside.  I have found the slow MDR service is since the "American Table" menu,  less formal and less staff.

One one Cruise we were moved into a small dining room off of the MDR because they broke up our traveling party to different tables.  They then filled the room with other guest that had wanted to change from late to early dinning.  The line brought down a waiter from the Buffet that was in line to be promoted to MDR.  When we went to our table and saw it was in the small separate room I said it would either be the best of worst MDR experience.  It turned out we had a great group of table mates,  the waiter was so happy to be outof the buffet that he was the best waiter I have had on a ship.  After dinner he would bring more coffee and second desserts and we could stay and chat with the table mates since no hurry for 2nd seating.

That sounds like too long a time even for leisurely dining.  I usually sit at a smaller table hoping that dinner would move along a bit quicker.  Usually it does.  Thanks for posting your first review here.  I enjoyed reading it.  The Breeze is my favorite Carnival ship.  I sailed her transatlantic when she first came into service.
