Review summary

I'm so glad we went, it was a wonderful, exciting experience. The ship was big but not overwhelmingly big. Having your choice of pools (depending on your mood) was really nice. The bingo games and casino were a lot of fun. Our snorkeling excursion in the Cayman's was awesome! Then we found a small beach right by the port where we could swim and hang out with drinks for the afternoon. The Beach in Roatan was beautiful and free, with beach chairs and palm trees a bar and food and you could walk to it. There were shops and a nature trail and music! Unfortunately, besides the river boat ride we took in Belize (which was great, especially our host, Joyce), I was very disappointed with that port. It was small, congested and had barbed wire fence at each end so there was nowhere safe to walk to and nothing to do. In Cozumel, For a very good price, we went to a private beach where we could snorkel, use kayaks or paddleboard and spent the whole day there and it was assume!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved the buffet and chose to eat there every night! Such a nice selection of foods available, including selections for my vegetarian daughter.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were five pools to pick from, a couple of them were adult only which was really nice. We swam, we played bingo, enjoyed the machines at the casino, watched a couple of movies and just enjoyed spending time as a family!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We saw a comedian who made us all laugh out loud multiple times. There was always someone singing or playing an instrument and they were all wonderful.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had to go to guest services a few times and everyone there was very helpful. There were a few bars and the servers were mostly friendly. The room stewards were all friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were fortunate that our rooms were right near the middle of the ship by the elevators, and most of the things we wanted to do were all near the middle of the ship so the layout was great! Everything was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Due to cost we went with an interior stateroom . . . it was pretty small. The bed pretty much takes up the whole room. The bathroom was very small and the toilet wouldn't flush at least three times, but when we called it in, it was fixed pretty quickly. The closet space was good, enough room for both my clothes and my husbands.

Ship tip

If it's June, bring light weight clothes and a hat. A lot of people dressed up for pictures and dinner too.
