I loved the casino!!! The ship's grand casino was not tight and many people hit the jackpot. I hit on my first night got comped free play for my next trip and I get an upgrade mini suite. I would look for a different ship on the princess line though. I enjoyed our wait staff and although there was not a whole lot of shows that caught my eye there were certainly other things to keep you occupied. This was my first time on Princess and I would do it again but I would probably just stick to the buffet or specialty dining.

Food and Dining

The specialty restaurant (the steakhouse) was exceptional. The dining room was bland and overcooked most nights. The buffet was fine but I expected more from the dining room experience. I also believe that bottle water should not have been a room charge but part of the package since hydration is so important.
Onboard Activities

The comedy shows were good the impressionist, however, was not funny and could not do impressions. The pools were fine and although I did not personally utilize the fitness center I was told by my companions that it was nice.
Entertainment

As I mentioned the only stage show that was good in my opinion was Alfred and Seymour they were hilarious. The DJ was good.
Children's Programs
We did not have children with us so I don't know what they had planned for them.
Service and Staff

Even though I did not enjoy any of my meals in the dining room and they left me wanting. I would go for no other reason than the waiters that we were assigned to. Marco, Oscar and Ujjwell made our cruise and our dining experience fun so I was able to look past the fact that once I left there I would be ordering room service or going to the buffet for something I could actually enjoy. Two thumbs off for Marco he made us laugh the whole time and he was just so personable.

Ship tip
Well, the Caribbean Princess needs to get fixed it had mechanical issues which caused a delay in getting into one of our ports at its scheduled time and on the return there was a power surge that they had to rectify so the Caribbean Princess needs some work before hitting the high seas again to secure my comfort level.
We did a tour which had 7 different stops so we stopped at the Cacao company, the tequila factory, the Discovery Dolphin and saw some other cools things so it was very nice and informative.
No, we did not do an excursion but we did shop and the prices were decent. We also visited Diamond International and I got some jewelry made so that was nice as well.
Cozumel is big and I enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to take a water shuttle. We went on a semi-submarine excursion which consisted of seeing the marine life from a glass bottom boat essentially, there were other things of interest but honestly I can't remember and then of course we went shopping.
We did a walk off and literally no lines at all not even going through customs. People that is the way to go it is worth to just keep your bags with you. You get off the ship early and don't have to look for color coded suitcases and you are on your way.
