Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was at best a C-. Frequently one could not cut the meat with a knife. Cheapest cuts the line can buy. Would not surprised to see marks on the steak from the jockey’s whip. Every dinner some annoying oddball waiter came to the table to sell thimble size Bailey’s cream or something. Unwelcome, annoying.

The Salty Dog Grill

1 out of 5

Had the hamburger on night one with tomato slice; result: 2 days of indigestion.

Dining Room

1 out of 5

Venue, staff: fine. Food, C- on a great day. They have begun charging $20.00 each if you’d like lobster or filet mignon on any dining night, or 39.99 for a duet, except on final night, charges lifted.

Onboard Activities

Passenger Services

5 out of 5

Polite, professional but way overworked. Lines of passengers’ queries were often long. Phone calls all go unanswered.

Casino

My darling wife spends tons here every cruise.

Entertainment

Last show of cruise called “Bravo” was absolutely sensational. The other nights…a big yawn, truly. Ask anyone. Cruise director made inappropriate quips about old cruisers falling asleep during shows. She needs to be replaced.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Fine.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Mildew in our shower stall for days. The steward did clean it after being shown the mildew. The air conditioning on board is mostly a flop. Hallways and ding rooms hot enough for men to remove jackets. This ship needs to become an artificial reef in the Red Sea or someplace.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Tiny in one word. Ceiling light bulb, one of the strange fluorescent tube things flashed constantly anytime the room lights were on, like a strobe light at a concert. Calls to passenger services, to notify a basic electrician, were not answered.

Ship tip

In a word - avoid. Better dollar value: definitely Celebrity.
