Review summary

Itinerary was great and this was a very relaxing vacation. The staff was very attentive, very helpful and friendly. The ship has been renovated but the cabins still seem outdated. Main dining menu was disappointing however the buffet was amazing! More outlets needed in cabins. Two Captains’ dinners is unnecessary. People sign up for 7 dinners in the main dining rooms and feel excluded if they don’t want to wear a tuxedo or ball gown for two nights. Some people enjoy dressing up, others do not. The buffet was packed both nights.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom looked very outdated. Only two outlets to plug in WI-FI devices and one was in the bathroom.

Ship tip

Update rooms for modern technology and upgrade food in the dining rooms.

FYI, we had formal night tonight on a Princess cruise and although this mostly older crowd was more dressed up than other cruises I’ve been on lately, there were still several men in shorts in the MDR.

I don’t really like dressing up either but Princess, like other lines, no longer have any mandatory formal wear dress code. As long as you can dress in pants and shirt you will be accepted in the MDR on formal night.

I agree with you about the menu! I dressed up one of the two nights and skipped the other. Dressed up meaning I wore a dress since I have zero interest in packing like I’m attending a coronation! Buffet was pretty good and I am not a buffet person!
