Review summary

An all-round great trip with a very friendly crew, many interesting locations.

Embarkation

Organized quickly and professionally, very friendly staff

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Very good and extensive food, we tried Marketplace, Salty Dog, Slice and all 3 dining rooms. Very friendly staff. Everything perfect.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very sufficient for us. We went to all 3 theater shows. Paul Alves was also great at Crooners. We come from Germany and have a hard time assessing comedy shows and the like. But we liked it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very friendly and sufficient staff, no matter in which area. Our steward Naik was also great. (Suites D 619 and D 621)

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is already a few years old, but we were very satisfied. We especially liked the Bling/Bling American/British style. The ship was very well maintained by the staff.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice mini suite. Comfortable, with a nice balcony. Ample space for 2 people. Very good beds, everything well maintained. Each cabin was cleaned twice a day. We traveled with 2 of our children (26 and 13 years) and booked 2 mini suites next to each other.

Ports of call

Quebec City, Quebec

5 out of 5
Beautiful historic city, we explored on our own.

Ville Saguenay, Quebec

5 out of 5
Great experience for nature lovers. We visited the national park and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

5 out of 5
The weather wasn't that good but we still had a nice day, self-organized city tour in the morning and a light tower trip in the afternoon.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

4 out of 5
The city itself doesn't have that much to offer, so we took part in a highlight trip.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Great city to explore on your own. We did a Harbor Hopper trip (highly recommended), visited the Maritime Museum (What for Titanic fans) and then explored the city on foot and tasted a traditional Canadian Putine in "Henry House", very tasty for those who like it.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
The highlight next to Quebec. We recommend a round trip through Arcadia National Park. Then we went on a gift shop shopping tour. Over 20 gift shops in one street - really crazy.

Boston, Massachusetts

4 out of 5
Interesting but not my favorite

New York, New York

5 out of 5
We visited New York for 3 more days after the boat trip. A fascinating city. We've been to the Statue of Liberty, One World Observatory, 9/11 Memorial, Empire State Building, EDGE, SUMMIT, Central Park and 2 city tours.

Disembarkation

Hassle free and fast.
