Review summary

Medallion app worked OK. Some features never worked like the daily activities. Ordering drinks and food worked most of the time and was relatively quick. However, on sea days, the app seemed to be overwhelmed and would crash. Overall, enjoyed the cruise and would sail on this ship again when needing a quiet vacation and time to relax.

Embarkation

Boarding group did not seem to matter. After being checked in, people seemed to be randomly sorted into groups to sit in terminal and wait. No one ever asked which boarding group we were in and didn't want the information when we gave it. We secured the first boarding group on the app but were put in group 5 once in the waiting area.

Food and Dining

2 of the speciality restaurants were not open (BBQ, Steamers). This area was used for additional seating for buffet. Food was OK but seemed repetitive especially on the buffet. Choices were limited for dinner (main dining room, buffet, grill or pizza). Even with a reservation main diningrooms got really backed up. Found that going after 7:30 even without reservation worked better.

Many pools and sitting areas. Loved the Terrace Pool and the sitting areas around it.

Cabin / Stateroom

Great aft cabin. Large balcony that was completely shaded. Balcony was private. People in other cabins (above, beside) could not see on to balcony. Location was very quiet. Aft elevators were relatively close. Lots of storage space. Only one outlet for use. Small bathroom and shower but was fine. Would book this cabin again. Only wish was that the balcony chairs were more comfortable.
