Review summary

We understand what the companies are going through, but we have been on nine cruises since they were allowed to sail again. This is not Princess quality unless this is the new normal?

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Slight back up in terminal even with assigned time and Platinum Statis

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All were as good as expected

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Games

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the shows were good, but one would not be what I would have chosen

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Every day you were told how everything that was happening was due to a staffing shortage. I question why we fill the ship if we know that we cannot handle the passengers? $$$$

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The interior was maintained as I expected from Princess. Exterior (Hull) rust. Cutbacks on maintenance?

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Standard balcony cabin

Ship tip

Leave plenty of time for the dining room. SLOW

Appreciate your feedback. I agree that perhaps they shouldn’t fill the ships if they can’t provide enough crew to handle the occupancy.

I’m afraid this will be the new norm as long as Covid is around. Still hoping to be able to go again.

Well at least you know the problem is because of staff shortages. Would you have preferred they canceled your cruise? I wish they would at least tell us they have a problem and allow people to postpone if they choose. Of course they are struggling financially.
