Review summary

Given the weather limiting our ports of call and the food being subpar, the trip was enjoyable. I would not take the same trip on the same ship.

Good, except that our check-in time was delayed due to sanitation procedures

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
My wife and I, and most of the passengers we spoke with, found the dining area food to be second rate. We had a previous Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on the Star Princess. The food on that cruise far surpassed this one. There was little difference between the dining room food and the World Market Buffet.

Service and Staff

The service was a tad slow in the Main Dining room, but otherwise, all other service personnel were outstanding.

Cabin / Stateroom

Other than a second television set and a shower/tub combination, there did not seem to be much difference in size between the balcony stateroom and the mini-suite. I was clean, if a bit worn by time.

Lack of local transportation was a real problem for many of the passengers. No cabs, no rental cars were available.

We were asked to be ready to depart starting at 6 A.M, only to find out we could hace slept in and departed almost anytime.
