This is my 3rd Princess cruise. My husband and I were very impressed with the breakfast and lunch options on the Lido deck, 15th. However, we were not as impressed with the dinner options in the Island Dining room. We had anytime dining. Some of the fish meals were very good, but not the beef dishes. Also the desserts in the International Cafe and the Lido were actually better than those for dinner. Also we didn't like the 8-top tables. Too many people and the service was slower.
Embarkation

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Buffets excellent. Island dining room food nothing to write home about.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Fitness center good; I did the elliptical. Unfortunately, the tread mills don't open until 8. I also did pickleball once. It was fun. I enjoyed the pools, steam, sauna. We played bridge with another couple, but the cards were not available at the given time and place, so had to delay our game. I wish Princess had a real duplicate bridge program with director.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Loved all the entertainment...singers/dancers (except for "Born to Be Wild" show, not the best rock music except for Fleetwood Mac), comedian and magician great.
Children's Programs
No kids with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Room stewards and wait staff excellent. Customer service was too slow. Not enough people on duty. Many times a long line.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean, but I thought the decor was uninspiring. Not enough excellent seaworthy art work.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Bed extremely comfortable...no problem there. But the bathroom...shower stall extremely small and only slightly warm water in shower . Also sink water too warm.
Ship tip
Unless both passengers are small, upgrade to mini or suite.
There's nothing special about this port. We took a cheesy bus tour at the port. They didn't even take us to the downtown area. Princess had no bus tour excursions, only bus and boat which we didn't want.
Did the chair lift to beach and swam. Swimming with goggles fun, but I didn't see much although it was reported that there was good snorkeling right at the beach.
Really love cave tubing with EcoTour Belize (from Skymiles) I'm 72 and pretty fit. If you can walk 30 minutes, do this one. Cave tubing with some other companies require participants to carry their own tubes.
Very clean and inviting. I walked around and looked in the huge number of stores, but did not find anything I really wanted. The Mariachi bands were a nice touch.
