Review summary

A short 4 night trip after the Caribbean Princes came out of a yard period. It was a great way to preview the ship before we take a 10 day Panama Canal trip next year. Medallion Cruising will be the wave of the future for Princess and this was a gtrat learning experience for us. We are looking forward to our future cruises already booked and ones that might peak our interest.

We had our Medallions sent to the house and getting on was a breeze. My wife had issues and it was quickly resolved

The production show was a let down and the individual entertainers were very good. The Fantastic Journey did not seem to have a point to the singing and dancing. The songs were difficult to understand and made no sense.

With the Medallion being used vice a cruise card, it seemed faster to order a coffe and other drinks. We did not use the apps to order anything and have it brought to us.

Ship tip

Sign up to receive you cruise medallions early and not wait to pick them up at the port. Load the apps tp your smart phone as soon as possible. There are kiosks at most of the stairs to help you find places and provide directions and when you select the 2-D option you can use your fingers to expand the map. .

Since it was only a 4 night cruise we self disembarked with our luggage in tow and beat the crowd.

Sorry. I meant were you allowed to process and start boarding right away or go to a holding area to await your deck boarding to be called.
