It would have definitely been beneficial to check on the age group have the cruisers during this time of year. This is nothing to salt the cruise line but it would’ve been nice to know going into it

Food and Dining

Restaurants weren’t as formal as I expected. One of the three restaurants we tried had a formal ambiance. When you dress for “formal night” in a tux and gown, it’s almost embarrassing to eat at a restaurant that is like a cafeteria.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Fitness Center was ok. As for the other activities, it was a little lacking for anyone who wasn’t a senior. The majority of the people on the ship were seniors so the activities were geared to them. Us being 45-55 as well as my 23 year old son, there could have been more for our ages during the at sea days.
Entertainment

Fantastic MC for most of the evening events.
Children's Programs

We had our 11 year old who loved the teen Center but there wasn’t enough kids for the kids age category. There was an average of 3 to 5 kids in the teen center each day due to the demographic being mostly seniors. Wish we had more families on board.

Ship tip
As a family, wish we had checked with forums to see how many other families were on this cruise.
We did the trip to the native village.. It was deemed to be authentic and that the families were living off the grid, However once walking through the area of the cabins, we saw coke cans and “croc” shoes in the mess under their cabanas.
Hub and I are in the 55 & under age group. Love Princess for the activities for all age groups. Zumba for me, book talk in the library for the older folks.
I guess that’s why we prefer Princess over Carnival not so many kids but a lot older crowd. We’re 58 & 56 and usually in the younger crowd. 2 more days and we’ll be hanging out with the younger crowd on Caribbean. Finishing up packing right now.
