This was my 3rd time on the Caribbean Princess, I have loved it every single time! Because we went through the Panama Canal, I felt like this was one of those trips of a lifetime that you will remember forever. Thank you Princess Cruises for a memorable vacation!
Embarkation
3 out of 5
We walked on the ship within 15 minutes of arriving at the terminal, so don't get me wrong, we were impressed. However, during the muster practice two people were transported to the hospital, so it kind of started us off on a sad note. We left port over an hour late, but no one was grumpy about it, were all just really bummed that we started this way.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
So impressed with The Palm dining room, great food and the best service from Jerald and Mark. Our other favorite was afternoon tea in The Sanctuary. Wonderful little sandwiches and goodies, all made better by an amazing staff.
Dining Room

Traditional seating at The Palm is the way to go. You have the same waiters every evening (thanks Jerald and Mark) and you just feel welcomed.
Vines Wine Bar
5 out of 5
We stopped at Vines every evening before dinner for a glass of wine and sushi or tapas. Delicious and great waitstaff.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed hanging out in The Sanctuary, we always do. But we also enjoyed the Lotus Spa, trivia sessions, blackjack tournaments, and dancing to all of the great music.
Sanctuary

We LOVE The Sanctuary! From the relaxing beds to the amazing staff to the afternoon tea, it is worth every penny!
Entertainment

We didn't go to any of the stage shows, however we enjoyed all of the musicians on board, fun dancing tunes.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Mark and Jerald, our evening waiters were phenomenal. Joseph our cabin attendant was so kind and kept us organized. The entire Sanctuary staff was top notch.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was kept clean and although it has been recently updated, there are still some areas that could benefit from some new furnishings.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great cabin, beautiful view always. Close to our fave things. Joseph was a great attendant.
Ship tip
Be sure to complete details on shore excursions. Some of them had really long travel times to and from.
This was probably the most disheartening experience. We arrived in port over 2 hours late due to a medical emergency that had sent us back to Grand Cayman. Because of this, all shore excursions in Fort Lauderdale were canceled and we had new disembarkation times. Unfortunately they didn't stick to those times so it was a big cluster. People were arriving to board the ship as we were trying to leave and they ran out of wheelchairs for people that needed them. People were tripping, crowding, getting confused on which way to go. As I said- a CLUSTER!
