Review summary

We really enjoyed Belize.  We took a land and river cruise where we went to Altun Ha, had a Belizean lunch and then a cruise on the river.  The river part reminded me so much of old Florida but instead of alligators we had crocodiles.  We also saw a manatee and iguanas in the trees and on the land.  We had rain in Roatan which dampened the day.  It was the start of their rainy season.  I always look forward to Movies Under the Stars but this time they were showing Hall of Fame Rock Concerts.  I was disappointed, I wanted movies.  Caribbean Princess will be going under a remodel soon, can't wait to see what upgrades they make.

It was so cool to have a bathtub. It gave us so much more room in the bathroom. Also, enjoyed having the 2 tvs and the couch with room to stretch out without having to sit on the bed. The only thing different I would do is have a curtain between the couch and the bed.

Ship tip

The Voice of the Ocean was exceptional, funny and entertaining. The Princess orchestra is outstanding.

I believe the engine problem (propulsion)only means the ship can't go as fast. We were on her in April on the TA. There were times when we weren't up to full speed, but we never missed a port.

The Caribbean just got out of drydock in April2017 because we were on her. for a TA

We are on this ship in may 2018. Did they say what upgrades were going to be done since she was in dry dock this past April. Also We've been seeing reviews of this ship saying the ship has engine problems.
