Review summary
The Caribbean Princess is showing her age and is, thankfully, scheduled for a refurbish in March. While I liked the size of the ship in terms of passengers (compared to the larger ones), I felt the bathroom in our stateroom was significantly smaller than I had expected. The staff on this sailing was superb, from the cabin attendant to everyone in the dining room. We had a passenger with us who has food allergies and the headwaiter bent over backwards to ensure she could eat and had the galley prepare really magnificent plates given their limitation of ingredients.
The ports we visited were really for those interested in diving and scuba; we visited the port areas and returned to the ship for relaxation. Fortunately, that was the objective of our group. There's not much to do when you disembark in the Western Caribbean unless you're into zip lining and water activities.

Ship tip
If you're in a large group, see the maitre d' and arrange for a table seating that suits you. We were six and chose the late seating so as not to wait at anytime dining.
