Review summary
It was just ok. I enjoyed getting off at the different ports. Everyone on the cruise was mostly friendly and helpful. Princess Cruise lines is not really a kid friendly cruise line. I went with my son who is 10 and when talking with Princes they assured me that there was things for the kids to do. There were 12 kids total on th cruise and Kidzone was not what was expecting. As my 10 year old just wanted to site back and play a game and was told that he needed to participate in crafts before it was free time. The food was just ok. It was not kid friendly food, and what you had for dinner the night before was on the buffet the next morning for breakfast. (Really) So I guess once you go on a Disney Cruise and than go on a princess they do not compare.

We have been on a number of Princess Cruises and really can not see where you are coming from regarding the 'food', it has always been first class with plenty of choices for all tastes no need to be repetitive unless you really are 'fussy' eaters. As for the children, yes there are things for children to do but why take them on holiday if all your planning on doing is palming them off onto someone else? I agree the 'Disney' cruises would be better for you as this is after all designed with children in mind.
