Review summary
The Caribbean Princess was a very nice ship. We did not like the 5 day cruise- we prefer 7 days or more. The food was very good, both in the dining room and buffet. One problem we had at the buffet was that the dishes were freshly washed and were VERY hot. They were handed to us by a server with a napkin so we wouldn't burn our fingers. Hot plates are great for hot dishes, but the first thing we came to was the salad bar. Salad dishes should be COLD- NOT HOT. The ship rode with a very noticeable vibration. The entertainment was very good. The crew was attentive and very pleasant. PRINCESS'S CAPTAINS CIRCLE gave excellent benefits- BETTER THAN ALL OTHER CRUISE LINJES. Since we were elite, we got early boarding, free internet and free laundry and dry cleaning. This feature is a very important feature when we plan future cruises.

That's the same cruise were doing on the Caribbean Princess this April 25. Leaves from Port Everglades, visits Bermuda, Scotland, 2 stops in Ireland and ends in Southampton. This will be our 1st 14 dayer and 1st TA.

I have run into the hot dishes problem on other cruise lines and also in restaurants like Ruby Tuesday. But I never had to use a napkin because they were so hot. Glad to hear that free internet and laundry were perks for you. I get free laundry on Carnival now and after one more cruise will get it on HAL.Those ARE great perks. I have only taken one cruise on Princess - a transatlantic to SouthHampton
