Review summary

The cruise was great, we had perfect weather out of Houston and the weather was great the entire cruise. The cabin steward was great, easy to get service from and remembered all our quirks. The ship is definitely due for the upcoming upgrades. Some areas weren't super clean and there was clear wear and tear in some of the public areas. The balconies were a good size compared to other ships. However the glass was never cleaned on the bannisters. Their idea of cleaning the glass was throwing a bucket of water at it and walking away. That is the first time I've seen a ship with glass so dirty on the balconies. Usually I see them cleaning the glass in Mahogany Bay but it didn't happen on our cruise. Other than that and the few public areas that need upgrades, the ship is fantastic. The public areas are great and definitely take a trip on the Lido deck all the way to the front past the balcony staterooms. The view once you get outside is great, albeit very windy when you're sailing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Don't miss out on getting an omelette made in the breakfast buffet.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

The shows I did attend were great. The theater is a bit on the small side but a great room. They need to replace the ML's with LED's though, all the ones they have in there are older and have loud fans.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

They had the best casino staff I've ever experienced. Daniel, Iain, Gabriel were great.

Ship Quality

It's time for the upcoming renovation in the public areas.

Ship tip

The very back of the ship has a great view for breakfast, watch the wake and enjoy the breeze.

Ports of call

Houston, Texas

5 out of 5
It feels pretty isolated at first, but it's a nice quiet port.

Cozumel, Mexico

Very tourist focused, but a great place to go swimming with the Dolphins. We booked with ShoreTrips and had a great small group of people to enjoy the experience with.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
The beach is great right off the boat, but don't miss the chance to see the monkeys outside of the port.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
I've never been a fan of Belize but the port is ok, I'd prefer to just stay on the ship here.
