Review summary
Overall the ship was clean and the main areas were well maintained, though it was a Christmas cruise so it was jam packed with people, which is what we expected. Our stateroom was poorly laid out and the bed was awful, we have cruised several times and expected a higher quality from Princess, which is how we selected the Caribbean Princess. The buffet was plentiful, and the food was attractively laid out and tasty, though we did get sausage that was bad on one day. The dining room service was slow, and drink service was poor at meal times; one time we had to get our own water, and then the waiter told us not to do that cause he would get into trouble, but thirsty people need drinks. The food was not stupendous, but again it was tasty and served attractively. This ship had 2 adults-only pools which was great, though some parents took that to mean they could take their children there if they wanted. Once the sign was pointed out to them they would usually take their children to another pool. There were enough deck chairs which is great as so many ships do not have enough. There were plenty of activities on board the ship, so if someone was board, ti was because they did not take part, a person could lay in the sun all day or take part in numerous activities.Ports of call
