Embarkation

Well organised but very busy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main restaurant was very pleasant, great food and very clean. Specialty dining was very good. Good selection of restaurants. Main buffet felt like a staff canteen area but with good selection of different food. Always plenty to eat.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pool area was very clean but water was very cold.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good variety of entertainment and areas of music. Loved the live lounge. Felt there was something for everyone.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Good room steward. Staff generally were very helpful and friendly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The cleanliness of the ship was ok. Felt the some public toilets could have been better. Ship design- need a middle staircase of lifts . Strange that you were unable to go down all by stairs to get to the restaurants.

Cabin / Stateroom

Didn’t like this port. Excursion was a waste of money. The coach ride was much better than the places we visited. Wouldn’t go back.

Cadiz (Spain)

5 out of 5
Lovely place. Able to walk into town. Very beautiful. Place I’d like to return to.

Lisbon, Portugal

5 out of 5
Another lovely port. Easy to walk into town and walk around. The hop on hop off bus was a good way to find your way around.

Disembarkation

I like Britannia, but I do think the retreat at the front should not be charged for... They do not have enough hot tubs for the rest of the ship... I appreciate they need to up sell / get more more money but a small increase in the initial cruise price could cover this... or provide more hot tubs in the general area... Even other ships on P&O (Ventura) give you more facilities...

I would definitely recommend p & o having done 24 cruises with them. 😊
