My wife and I didn’t really know what to expect on our first ever cruise. We were met with so many friendly people and an outstanding crew! The crew members aboard will play a large part in our return! Especially, people like Wahyu, Ikadek, MC John, Wens, and Dwi!! All of these guys made a lasting impact on our honeymoon and why we will look forward to cruising again. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. But the service was unforgettable!

Main dining was amazing! Wahyu and Ikadek provided us with the best service we could hope for! Although they had many tables, they treated us like we were their only one. They made us feel like family and were very very polite!

I am the sole champion of the Belly Flop competition! That was a blast. We also enjoyed the putt-putt course. Trivia games were very fun as well!

The shows and their performers were great! They kept us engaged and kept our toes tappin the entire cruise. It was very nice to just have a drink and sit and listen to the different performances

Our waiters Wahyu and Ikadek were 5-Star servers! Very polite and prompt. They made us feel important everyday and made us feel like personal friends! They kept us laughing and smiling each meal. We hope to have that same duo on our next cruise! Bartenders Dwi, MC John, and Wens were awesome! They sure knew how to keep us enjoying ourselves. Aside from the amazing drinks, these guys had so much charisma we actually enjoyed sitting at the bar more than most activities! They also made us feel like family. We shared stories and learned a lot about each other. We hope to see these guys again as well! Putu, our room steward was so helpful and non-invasive! Our room was always so clean and we felt very comfortable coming back to the room everyday!

Cleanliness 10/10
Comfort 9/10 only complaint was the a/c. Although it did get a little cool, it didn’t feel as cool as I’d hoped.
Size 8/10 just a tad more walking space between the bed and wall would be nice
Ship tip
Get the drink package and maybe keep some tipping cash handy for waiters, bartenders, stewards etc.
No excursion. But very fun to walk around shopping centers and even up the road to street vendors. Port is very walkable for most, but there are vendors on bikes who will drive you up the port for tips
Beautiful port! Had to board a tender to get there first which wasn’t bad, just a long process. Here we did Stingray City where we swam around in waist deep water with very friendly stingrays. Probably our favorite excursion. We also snorkeled in the reef which was beautiful to see as well! Highly recommend using the floaters they provide.

We’ve sailed Brilliance twice already this year and definitely agree on everything! (One of our favorite ships). We’re doing this same itinerary in Jan and can’t wait! Just hope we make it to Progreso as we’ve never been there before! 😉
