Review summary

When traveling to Alaska, be sure to bring warm clothes and a rain coat!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was a mess in Vancouver. I think part of the issue was the port workers strike. Took nearly 2 hours to get through security to get onto the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
New menus were nice. I liked the new themed night dinning menus. Windjammer is always best for a quick bite to eat.

Izumi Sushi & Hot Rocks

5 out of 5

Their sushi and sake pairing meal is so good! A must try.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Trivia is a must on any cruise (for me). If you like sushi, do the sushi making class! So much fun!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure your experience on the ship is perfect!

Ship tip

Book excursions early! Tried to go to Mendenhall the day we got to port, but wasn’t able to go as it was already fully booked.
