Review summary

Wi-Fi on board was great. Buffet was surprisingly good. Great cruise overall.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Tampa Port Authorities are not the friendliest during the holidays. My husband had a brief disagreement with one of the officials. Sometimes being right is not as important as getting on board in a timely fashion

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were impressed with Windjammer Buffet. It offered pretty good options and I loved the wealth of healthy selections. Main Dining in Minstrel was good and we had great wait staff. We only ate in Minstrel 2 nights as one night we were at Izumi (so good) and the other times we stuck with the buffet.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Karaoke was fun to watch; game called You know the song dance it was good; tons of trivia (shout out to Ozzy from Germany who happens to be Turkish-trivia host); I always found something to do.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I did not watch a lot of the shows; the comedian was so-so; we did enjoy the live music in the Centrum

Wish it could have been bigger. For three people, it was a tight squeeze. We had the best room steward Jasim.

Disembarkation

Slow and painful process. Whether you self-assisted or used luggage assistance, you had to stand in the same long line as everyone else. The Port of Tampa has not perfected disembarking. You were in a “fast”lane if you used the porters to get your luggage.
