Review summary

I enjoyed everything about the cruise. Brook Romano was very helpful when I booked the cruise. I was constantly out of my comfort zone, but in a new experience way. Ship staff were beyond helpful. I would do this again.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
clean, friendly

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
putt putt golf, fitness center, Solarium swimming pool, hot tub, cinema movies -- I enjoyed them all

Entertainment

5 out of 5
all shows were top notch. Dan Whitney was a great DJ. Loved Albert Lucas and the spinning plates.

Children's Programs

did not bring any children, although the programs appeared good and I would recommend them to people with children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room steward was amazing. The washey washey kids welcoming us into the Windjammer restaurant were fun and got me to Purell my hands. Aziz at Minstrel dining was efficient and professional. All wait staff were great

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was very clean. It took me several days to understand forward from aft. I should have located a map of the ship much earlier in my cruise. Signs near and on the elevators were absolutely vital to figuring out where to go.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was claustrophic in my cabin and would reserve a balcony room with an opening window next time I cruise. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The bed perfect. cleanliness was way beyond anything I've experienced. The turn-down and towel folding into cute animals every night made me happy.

Ship tip

read the daily Compass first thing to plan your day.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

busy, but helpful. Loved the turtle conservation farm on Grand Cayman. On Cozumel, my husband and I went on a "mini-submarine" excursion organized through a small company in the lobby of the Hotel Cozumel & resort. It was very good. The 2 blocks of merchants next to the port were very stressful to get through. All retail people were polite, but the constant pressure was something I'd have to anticipate and deal with better next time.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Loved the turtle conservation farm on Grand Cayman. The personnel at the on-site aviary were knowledgable and professional.

Cozumel, Mexico
