Review summary

Was on a better cruise last year on the Rhapsody of the Seas. Much better than this ship. They need to upgrade son thing on the Brilliance.

soda package was a waste of money. Could not even get bottled water with it. They advertise freestyle cocoa cola machines and this boat did not have it. Had to pay extra for bottled water. The food in the main dining room and buffet was good.

The dining room was great. Our waitress Mary and he helper was absolutely great. That was the best thing going on the ship.

The casino was okay, but the wait staff was not. I was in there every night an no one once asked me if I would like something to drink. I would have to go to the casino bar to get something and than they ignore me also. I guess because I was just getting a soda they did not want to bother

The wait staff in the buffet and the main dining room were great. The room steward was good. I do not know about the wait staff in the casino and on the deck, because they never approached us but they did wait on other people.

Cabin / Stateroom

This cabin was okay except not good for 3 seniors to be sleeping in. Very hard to get to the bathroom at night when someone is sleeping in the chair bed. They actually should have the regular bed closer to the bathroom and the chair bed on the opposite side.

Ship tip

If there are more than 2 adults to a room don not sail on this ship. Do not get the soda package because it is a waste of money. Plan on doing a lot of walking if you do have the soda package in order to get something to drink.

If you got the soda package, and didn't get bottled water, who's fault was that. They have a water package. ? I saw soda machines in the solarium.

I do agree there adults in a std cabin is a bit much for pretty much most ships. As far as water, giving than water and ice is free I do not understand the need for bottled water that gets warm quickly when you can use a insulated water bottle and fill with ice and water for free when needed.

Glad you enjoyed most of it. Brilliance was just upgraded 2 years ago. I would never attempt to have 3 adults stay in any standard cruise cabin on any ship.
