Absolutely loved Brilliance of the Seas and I have already begun telling my cruise friends about the ship. I would love a repeat but not to those destinations.

My roommate required special assistance and they immediately provided a wheelchair and took over.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We dined at will and had great staff. Because my roommate was in a wheel chair, they reserved a table right near the entrance so that we did not have to navigate between the tables. The staff remembered our special likes and made sure they were available without our having to ask. They stored the wheelchair during our meal and wheeled it out at the end of the dinner. Then they wheeled my friend out of the restaurant.
A couple of the bartenders weren't as knowledgeable about making mixed drinks but were very willing to learn.
The Windjammer is wonderful. Something for everyone!

Service and Staff

Guest Services was the best. We had several wheelchair issues and they were patient and always responded. Our room steward was tireless.
Ship Quality

As far as we saw, the ship was always clean and well maintained. We had a stateroom at the aft and had a spectacular view.
Cabin / Stateroom

The clothes closet worked well for 2 ladies and there were lots of hangers. By putting the suitcases under the bed, we had lots of room. Appreciated the empty fridge.
Ship tip
Check in early and go to the Windjammer for lunch. It will get crowded as everyone is waiting for the rooms to be available
Tourism is the life blood of Cozumel and everything is geared on getting you to spend money. We docked at Punta Langosta. The first thing you are faced with is a two-story building of tourist stores. You cannot avoid them; you have to walk the gauntlet before you can get to the street. Cozumel is also an island and great for beach goers.
We were #1 to disembark in order to get airport transport. We had checked luggage. However, when we reached the terminal, there was no luggage in the room and the staff took us directly to the customs official. We showed our passports and went through the door only to find out that the luggage was still back in the secured area and would not be released for another half hour or more and that we could not go back inside because we had cleared customs. We were told we would have to wait 2 1/2 hours before we could get back inside! We were not the only ones who had this experience. Everyone was very cranky. After much angst, the ship sent a member of guest services to help us. She was able to escort us one at a time back into the building to identify our luggage.
