Although the weather was a little cooler and windier than we would have liked, we had lots of fun. Would not go on Brilliance again as it did not take the waves well and rocked a lot on our way back to Tampa. Staff was excellent and very attentive. Main pool area very crowded and difficult to get a chair. Buffet food average, dining room food great.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Staff in the main dining room was friendly, attentive, and seemed to really focus on pleasing us. Especially Annalyn and Gribin!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Fitness center daily. Pool area very crowded. If you don’t go get a chair by the pool by 7 am, you won’t get one. They say no reserving of chairs but no way to enforce it.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the shows and cruise director Enzo, he is full of energy, not sure how he keeps up the pace. Most of the performers were great. Although I did not like the musical show on the last night, left early to pack.
Children's Programs
No children with us
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff was all fabulous. Especially our stateroom attendant Geronica and out waiters Gribin and Annalyn!
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship definitely shows wear as it is an older ship. We were in cabin 8558. There seemed to be a weird odor in the hallways. Smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and mildew. A lot of elevators to choose from so a short wait there. The centrum was very nice.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
We had cabin 8558 which was listed as a partial obstructed view. The balcony was really not obstructed in any was so not sure what that was about. Cabin was small but it worked for the 3 of us. Our attendant was friendly and attentive.
Ship tip
This was our third cruise. The last day of the cruise the ship rocked terribly and a lot of the passengers were complaining. If this would have been my first cruise I may have never went on another one. We haven’t experienced this before so the last 36 hours or so it was really bad and we started to feel sick.
Went to Mr. Sanchos. All food and drinks included for $50. It was right on the beach. There were pools as well. Staff was attentive. Fish tacos and coconut shrimp were excellent.
