Review summary

We had a blast and enjoyed ourselves but aren’t sure cruising will be our thing.

Embarkation

Very easy, quick, and everyone was very kind.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The buffet was constant chaos. Food was pretty good. Seating was a struggle. The specialty restaurants we ate at were amazing. Did cook a lot so have a high expectation. Chops Grille had the best steak and lamb. Didn’t disappoint. The Chef’s Table was one of my favorite ever dining experiences! It’s a must!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Poolside was crowded and hard to find a seat but always entertainment going on somewhere. We love to people watch, so we really enjoyed ourselves!

Entertainment

Rookie was my favorite entertainment!

Service and Staff

All around wonderful staff!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice, especially for such an old ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was great! Plenty of storage. I was pleasantly surprised! I’m so glad we did a balcony room. The view was slightly obscured by a life boat below us, but didn’t bother us one bit. The views were incredible!

Ship tip

It’s a smaller ship and if you suffer from motion sickness, I’d be causious. I spent a lot of time in bed. Lots of noticeable movement.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

I could live there! However, we did wake up there day TWO! Fog delayed us and we missed the Grand Cayman. 😞

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Missed due to a delayed departure from Tampa.

Cozumel, Mexico

Loved! Hated the sales stuff and everyone wanting tips, but ate at Tacos and Tequila and it was amazing! We did the Eco park beach break and lunch and couldn’t have been more pleased! It was our family of 4 plus one other family of four, all older children. We went to a private beach, just the 8 of us while our guides grilled us authentic Mexican food! Was perfect!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Also easy and painless. No complaints
