Review summary

This was a good cruise. Be sure if you are going in August September that you bring a few warmer things of clothing. We did bring rain ponchos but didn't need them until the last day, which from what every said was unusual it didn't rain more. I would recommend this cruise for the port of call.

Embarkation

This was one of the smoothest we have experienced. This was the first time they gave different times to show up, and it worked very smoothly. In and on the boat in less than 15 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The food was good, but on the buffet they have pretty much the same thing every other day. The desserts were very bland, example lemon something, no taste of lemon. Cookies the same. Because we like to go to the early shows we ate at the buffet mostly as the main dinning room didn't get done til the show was 1/2 over. We did eat at Chops (speciality dinning) and it was good. The coffee was cold and old at 5 in the morning as it sits out in a thermal pot from midnight on. If you are a early riser, don't plan on hot coffee.

Cabin / Stateroom

They have a shower curtain not a door. Bathroom counters very small. The room was set up nice, but the sofa (which will fold out to a bed) was hard and uncomfortable to sit. No chair at the desk. Closet space and drawers were good. Bed didn't allow to put both suitcases under it so one went in the closest taking up space. Also there is a cooler (not a mini fridge) so anything you put it does not really get very cold. No way to adjust.
