Definitely will do another Cruise with Brilliance of the Sea. We love the size of the Boat and the long time at sea. We really liked it better than the shorter cruise we had been on before. If you like slower pace and few children/teenagers, the way to go is a long cruise. There is actually room on the dance floor for older dancers who like to enjoy a dance or two. You can use the hot tubs and the pool and not get drowned by teenagers or drunk adults. The food seemed better on longer cruise and have time to really meet and make friends with lots of people.

Research the location of your hotel to the port and use the CruiseBuses that leave from Christopher Columbus Circle. Many hotels with walking distance to the Bus Pick up point. It's a safe walk as long as the protestors are not running around.

The food was good in main dining room and WindJammer and we did not speed any money on Speicality Resturants.

Great View and nice accommodations. I was surprised that the bed was comfortable and we slept soundly for two weeks.
The city it's self was very interesting, we took a whole day bus tour and saw many of the sights. We also walked around for two days during the daylight hours and visited many shops and restaurants. We spent a total of 4 days there. BUT, we will never return, we were ripped of by a Taxi Driver from train station to hotel, a small grocery store tried to short change us thinking we didn't understand EUROs and at one restaurant one waitress refused to serve us. We travel ALOT and we have crossed this city/country off our list.
What a beautiful place, we visit again. Streets and towns well maintained and clean. Our excursion was very informative and we saw many sites around the island. The wine tasting tour was a complete bust but we blamed the winery for there lack of service or information.
What a pit. The tour guide was very upbeat and gave us lots of information about the history of the island and it's people. He was very nice and loved his island, but I would not recommend this to anyone. If on our next cruise we will stay on the boat.
