Review summary

the cabins on this ship are extremely small.  we were glad we had a balcony for a little more room -- loud music and casino announcements could be heard well into the night  --  there is not one single space on the entire ship that is quiet-there is music playing everywhere  --  the food in the Windjammer restaurant was very ethnic and not to our taste, but there was no where else to eat lunch unless you paid extra  --  coffee is the only beverage free of charge with the exception of OJ at breakfast,  and $8 per person per day adds up fast(this is the cost for a beverage card)           we had never cruised with Royal Caribbean before, and probably never will again  PLEASE NOTE;  THE STAFF AND CREW WERE WONDERFUL

"Ethnic" music? That was awfully snobby and stuck up. As far as noise, it's s cruise ship, not an art gallery. You sound about as fun as a jar of moldy jellybeans.

With a little research, you could find a quiet room. Find out what's above and below your room, away from elevators and casinos.

Main dining room is always available for breakfast and lunch (someone didn't read their daily compass) in addition to the Windjammer and the Park Cafe...as well as room service. Sounds like you just didn't make the most of your options on vacation.

Cabins on all cruise ships are small...doesnt bother me one bit since we are only in there to sleep....if you book another cruise...pick a room away from the casino (ive never had noise issues) and you can shut off the room intercom....kinda sounds though that you just dont like cruises....seems like you didnt like anything....

My experience was great also. I had a balcony on the 8th floor. Couldn't hear anything. Was peaceful sitting on the balcony watching the water. I enjoyed the variety of food. Main dining was great. Met new friends each night. I guess your vacation is what you make of it. Mine was awesome and excited to go back again someday.

Wow, I'm surprised. We just came off on the 17th, and had a totally different experience. Our room on the 3rd floor was very quiet. If we didn't want to hear the announcements, we turned the speaker off. I though windjammer food was good. They had pizza, hamburgers, hot dog, as well as Italian food and many other choices. You could have also eaten in main dining room. Also, water, lemonade and iced tea are free. I bought the beverage package, which I felt was well worth it. I'm sorry you didn't have a good time.
