Review summary

A great cruise with an amazing crew.  Leaving from our home port of Boston is the best.  We wish there were more options to cruise from here.  Our room steward, Gerald met our every need, kept our room neat and was friendly and open with us.  We also had great service from our Waiter, Admir , his

Assistant, Tientien and the Head Waiter, Maria.  Dining was a pleasure with them and because we ate at the second seating we had lots of time to get to know them. The food was adequate but not spectacular.  The fish entrées were disappointing as they were often "fishy" tasting or overcooked. All in all, though, there were plenty of choices available. The ship was clean and easy to navigate.  We wish there had been more activities and music on the pool deck-they seemed to only offer that once we were on our way to Tampa after leaving the last island.  Everyone seemed sincerely eager to help, answer questions or find solutions to queries.  We would definitely not hesitate to travel again on RCL'S re-positioning cruise out of or into Boston!

Ship Quality

Easy to navigate and very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was large enough with plenty of storage for the 3 of us but the sofa bed was not comfortable for our daughter. The regular bed was super comfortable! The shower was small but once you figured out how to use it without getting water all over the bathroom it was fine and provided plenty of warm water.

Ship tip

Get to know the crew-they make the cruise.

If carrying your own luggage be aware that there is only one freight elevator-otherwise there are escalators and you must have one hand free to use them.
